Excelent services, very nice rooms in the new part of the hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms large enough for several days stay. There was a nice outside swimming pool with two hot baths nearby. The staff was very heplful and pleasant. The breakfast was rich and good. There was a small problem with suplying of the breakfast on our first day around 9 am. Probably we came just after some large group had left and there was a lot of old dishes on the tables, almost no new food, no clean dishes and also no sfaff for a few minutes. But it was sorted soon and everything went perfectly then. We liked the place near the hot springs and also quite close to the main road. Despite of that the place was quiet even during the nights.

The quickest check-in to a hotel I have ever experienced! Location-wise, it's great for access to the Golden Circle, Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, Reykjadalur Hike and as a stopping point en-route to the south coast. There is free parking at the hotel and it is plentiful! Breakfast is good, warm and cold options with plenty of gluten-free cereals and alternative milk options. Would highly recommend spending the extra for the Superior Rooms as these are well equipped and very quiet. For dinner, would recommend heading across the road to the Greenhouse or Olverk brewery/pizzeria for good quality food.

The location as it is located inside an industrial estate with shops and restaurants to eat in or takeaway food There is a bakery, a pharmacy and a vin buden (wine shop) all within walking distance of the hotel. There are petrol stations in the industrial area too. The town of selfoss is only a short 10 minute drive away from the hotel. Selfoss has a subway, dominos, and a kfc if you feel like fast food. The pool is heated to a nice temperature for the summer months.

Great hot tub and swimming pool that we were able to use at the end of December. Towels provided in the pool area, so very nice that you don’t have to bring your own. Breakfast is very substantial with nice choice of food and drinks. If you are renting a car, location is amazing as you are in the nature and not in a busy city. The Hver restaurant food was absolutely divine, everything that we tried was fine dining level.

Breakfast was good. Coffee was excellent. We were surprised that our towels were not changed, but realized later that we were supposed to ask for that. The towels for the heated pool were large and just right. It seems that the hotel is slowly renovating the rooms and we had one that had obviously been re-done. It was quite nice. Good black out shades.
