Hotel Örk

the location is great. just 1 mile from Reykjadalur Hot Spring Valley. Big pool and smaller hot tubs. the room had a TV, coffee making facilities and a hair drier. very comfortable beds. the staff were extremely friendly and polite and ready to help whenever you needed them. I really liked game room.

The quickest check-in to a hotel I have ever experienced! Location-wise, it's great for access to the Golden Circle, Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, Reykjadalur Hike and as a stopping point en-route to the south coast. There is free parking at the hotel and it is plentiful! Breakfast is good, warm and cold options with plenty of gluten-free cereals and alternative milk options. Would highly recommend spending the extra for the Superior Rooms as these are well equipped and very quiet. For dinner, would recommend heading across the road to the Greenhouse or Olverk brewery/pizzeria for good quality food.

I chose this spot as I was in the area and needed somewhere to stay for the night, it was quite well-priced for the inclusions. Breakfast has a lot of choices and tasted good. The block out curtains were really good and managed to block out all of the midnight sun which was very appreciated.

Fantastic location, love facilities included an amazing heated pool and hot tub with a great food hall across the road. Staff were superb with the option for Northern Light wake up calls.

I primarily booked this for the pool/hot tub… And it was even better than I had imagined. Except… The main slide and one hot tub were closed for some reason. That didn’t negatively affect our overall opinion though. Nice room, a little small (for what we’re used to) but all that we needed. The facilities overall were wonderful… really awesome common spaces. Wonderful breakfast. Great location on our journey, and very close to an abundance of options, such as restaurants, grocery, gas.
